Self-Love card form the The Power of Love Activation cards by James Van Praagh
"As the old saying goes, You can't love somebody else until you love yourself." It's true. The most important goal you can achieve in this physical dimension is that of loving yourself unconditionally. And it's a tough one. You are the very person who knows your dark secrets, faults, and shortcomings the best. It's easy to see the good in other people, because you don't know anyone but yourself inside and out. Do you really think that you are the only person you know who is not worthy of your love? Your soul is perfect; your human shell is imperfect. And so is everyone else's. The quality of love you give out is only as good as the quality of love you have for yourself. So stop short changing the world by not loving yourself with the same intensity you do others. You've made mistakes, but you've learned from them. That's what progress and spiritual evolution are all about. In addition, the moment you truly love who you are unconditionally, and to live in that state, your life will change in profound ways. The natural law of "like attracts like" applies here. Therefore, the people who do not truly love you, but only pretend to, will be released from your life. Those who do indeed love you and are worthy of your love will remain. It is the Universe's way of bringing you to the truth. Love your weaknesses, as much as your strengths, because they are your teachers." ~James Van Praagh When you learn to allow unconditional love from Spirit and your angels, it helps you with self-acceptance and self love; this in turn will assist you in self-respect so you can align with your authenticity and embrace blessings of love, peace, abundance and prosperity in all forms for which you are worthy of, it is your birthright. Love is unconditional, safe, strong, endures, nurturing and does not judge or criticize. When we choose love over fear, it will always help to overcome any obstacles or challenges. Nobody is perfect, we are all learning and growing along the way, we are all teachers for each other and here to help, love, and support each other on our life path. Spirit and your angels see past our egos and us for who we truly are and will always be there to help and guide us along the way. Ask, believe and be open to receiving unconditional love and compassion. Know you very loved always and without condition from Spirit and your angels for that is who your truly are, you are love. Remember who you are, you are love and were created from love, love is your true essence and nothing can ever change that, peace comes from remembering that only "love" is real, anything else is from your ego and will not last. You are enough and are fine just the way you are. Do not let outer circumstances or others define you, you define yourself; what will you choose, love or fear? Choosing fear which comes from the ego will always leave you feeling stuck and stagnant and make you feel unworthy etc.... You always have a choice and choosing love will always bring in your heart desires and blessings that are in your highest good that benefit you and others around you. Lighting a candle brings into focus the light within us which is always available to us and will lead us on our way.”— Robert Holden Ph.D.“No matter where we live on the planet or how difficult our situation seems to be, we have the ability to overcome and transcend our circumstances.”—LOUISE HAY Life is a learning experience. Sometimes we make decisions true to us, and sometimes we don’t. It’s OK because we learn. We are not defined by the mistakes we make. Allow yourself to let go of your negative self-talk, and love yourself. When you do this, you will notice many powerful shifts inside of you, such as: 1. Compassion
When we love ourselves in each situation, we learn to be the best version of ourselves. We become more compassionate towards ourselves, and we stop judging ourselves based on past decisions or actions. We learn from our mistakes and move on to the next moment. When we are compassionate with ourselves and others, it’s easier to adapt to changes in our life and to bounce back from hardship faster. 2. Bravery By being your true self, moment after moment, makes you courageous and strong. When challenges or anxieties mount, you might feel the pressure, but you face them with grace because you learn that you can count on yourself—your true self—to do your best, whether you fail or succeed! 3. Comfort When we express our true self we become comfortable in our skin and a weight is lifted off our shoulders. Self-berating diminishes, and with time, we’re less worried about the future. We are comfortable in the present, and we no longer carry the past around with us. We pay attention to the present, and it brings us comfort to be here—no matter where we are. 4. Positivity You’ll notice that when you practice trusting your inner voice that your relationships with others will change. You’ll start surrounding yourself with people who help you or encourage you to be yourself. You will not spend so much time around people who drain your energy, and you’ll gravitate towards others who inspire the best in you. 5. We Get Our Needs Met We, in turn, live a happy, fulfilling life. We get our needs met because we trust what we’re doing each day in each moment. We know that we deserve to be happy, and we have hope and the belief in the value of pursuing our dreams. As my old friend Wayne Dyer once said, “You are always a valuable, worthwhile human being - not because anybody says so, not because you're successful, not because you make a lot of money - but because you decide to believe it and for no other reason.” Love, ![]() |
